In response to: Now Tories Demand Review of Their Own 2019 Local Plan

This story reeks of the Conservative Party breaking wind and blaming someone else for the smell.

I hope no one, and particularly those of us in the villages, will forget how the Local Plan was foisted on us at speed by the Conservative administration just before the 2019 May borough elections.

Looking at the planning information available to the public, this demand is either nonsense or county-level Conservatives have made a back-door deal with central government to get the housing numbers down (or make it seem that way so they can blame everyone else when the numbers go back up).

Either way, something stinks.
