18-year-old Dies in Abinger Collision

An 18-year-old woman died in a collision at Abinger Hammer last night (February 5, 2018). Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses.

Emergency services were called to the A25 near to the junction with Raikes Lane around 8.20pm following reports of a collision between two cars, a Peugeot 206 and a Skoda Octavia.

The woman, a passenger in the Peugeot, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of both the cars, a man in his teens driving the Peugeot and a woman in her 50s driving the Skoda, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed in both directions for several hours while emergency services were at the scene.

Police officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, saw either of the cars driving before the incident, or has any dashcam footage.
