Guildford’s Academy Of Contemporary Music (ACM) has begun running music sessions for elderly people at the Park Barn Social Centre.

Brunch and Boogie

ACM vocal degree student Andrew Humphries with some of the people at the Park Barn Social Centre.

The first session was on November 18 with talented vocalist and keys player Andrew Humphries.

The ACM vocal degree student performed “jazzed up” versions of classics and wowed the centre with his vocal ability.

The gig was a complete success with the whole audience joining in for Elvis’s I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.

This session was followed by a Christmas special on December 2 with Ciara O’regan performing festive hits through the years.

The ACM reports that Ciara’s performance “was flawless with the audience particularly enjoying her version of White Christmas”.
