Another A3 Fatality As Car Hits Tree

Police accident signA 20-year-old local man died last night (Monday, October 6) when a car he was driving left the A3 near Onslow Village. Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses.

The incident happened at around 10.05pm, when a red BMW travelling southbound, came off the road and was in collision with a road sign and a tree. The driver, a 20-year-old man from the Godalming area, died at the scene.

The road was closed for four hours to enable emergency services to attend and an investigation to take place.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or the manner in which the BMW was driven before the incident between Wilderness Road and the American golf outlet in the Onslow Village area to contact police.
