Another Attempted Robbery By a Gang

A group of boys attempted to rob a teenage boy by Foxenden Quarry, York Road in Guildford on Friday, December 30.

The incident took place just two days after a similar incident which occured by the Friary Shopping Centre.

The victim was walking with friends near York Road Car Park sometime between 3.30 – 4.10pm when he was approached by the gang who demanded his wallet before assaulting him. He was able to get away when passers-by intervened.

Surrey Police is now appealing for witnesses.

One of the suspects is described as having blonde hair and another is described as having dark, curly hair. They were both wearing puffer-style jackets and face coverings.

A police spokesperson said: “If you were a witness or have any information which could help our investigation, please contact us quoting PR/45220140714 via:

“If you do not wish to leave your name, please call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
