The hunt is on for the driver of a black Audi A4 convertible involved in two crashes in Wonersh on March 4.

About 2pm, police arrived on the B2128 Cranleigh Road after reports that the southbound Audi, heading roughly toward Shamley Green, had hit the back of a white van, the driver then making a three-point turn and heading north.

Half a mile later, the driver appeared to have lost control of the Audi, hitting the nearside curb then crashing head on into an oncoming vehicle near the junction with The Close. The driver then got out of Audi and fled.

The suspect has been described as a white male in his early 50s, of medium build. He was wearing a blue hooded top, blue jeans, a grey beanie hat and a black face mask.
