Body Found on Ash Ranges in Search For Missing Woman

A body was found yesterday (August 1), in the search for a missing 43-year-old woman from Ash.

Dawn Storey went missing on Sunday, July 17 when she is believed to have gone to the shops but didn’t return home.

The body was found in undergrowth on Ash Ranges around 11.50am by a member of the public.

An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of her death, which is being treated as unexplained at this time. The woman has yet to be formally identified and a post mortem is due to take place later today (Tuesday, August 2).

The family has asked that their privacy is respected at this time.
