Book Now For The Guildford Institute’s Autumn Programme

The Guildford Institute’s autumn programme is out now, offering a total of 80 things to see and do!

Fifty courses will be available at the institute this autumn, giving adults the opportunity to learn about subjects as diverse as bridge and mahjong, literature, and photography in a relaxed social setting.

Autumn Front Cover 2Adding to the institute’s established programme this term is a brand-new Blogging for Beginners course,which will be held by regular Guildford Dragon NEWS columnist, Claire Dee. Claire, who has over 20 years of experience in the communications profession, will teach students the golden rules of blog writing.

A new drawing and painting tutor will also be welcomed this autumn: Ronnie Ireland will hold Catching the Image – A Demonstration & Workshop – an explanatory talk and practical session about developing your artistic ideas.

The autumn talks programme also aims to offer something for everyone. One of the highlights includes a talk by the author of the The Guildford Dragon’s NEWS’ tales from the River Wey Navigations, Richard Cant. He will give a history of the River Wey Navigation and an insight into how it is managed today.
