Police Find Body On A3 Slip Road Near Woking Road Junction

A body has been found by Surrey Police next to the northbound slip road of the A3 close to the junction with Woking Road, Guildford.

The police have said the body was found around 3pm this afternoon (Monday, August 23).

An investigation is in the early stages, say the police, and enquiries into the circumstances of the death are under way.

Officers add: “We are working in conjunction with Highways England and the road is expected to remain closed overnight and tomorrow. We ask members of the public to respect the cordons in place.”

This afternoon, a group of police vehicles and officers could be seen at the start of the slip road by the roundabout on the A320 Woking Road, opposite Stoke Mill.

Due to the incident, there was a build up of traffic in the area.
