Castle Green Bowlers Host SeeAbility Residents

Castle Green Bowling Club hosted eight members of SeeAbility and their carers who had great fun on the bowling green foll;owed by afternoon tea.

Shirley West of the bowling club said: “It was such a pleasure to see these lovely people with no sight and disabilities enjoying the afternoon.

“Sue and Paddy took to it really well and managed to get a bowl on the target mat, and Sue scored the most points and received a trophy which she was over the moon with.”

SeeAbility is a charity for sight loss and disabilities. It has a house in Guildford for eight residents and is currently looking for volunteers to help with reading stories and poems and giving its residents a pampering and beauty session and also just talking to them.
