Challengers, the Guildford children’s charity, welcomed supporters and local councillors to their community open day in Guildford.

The event on Saturday, May 23, gave the charity the opportunity to celebrate the impact made by their supporters and provided a chance for guests to meet the team, while discovering more ways to get involved.

Over the course of a couple of hours, CEO Gen Dearman, Chair of the Trustees Russell Harvey and Parent Ambassador Natasha Morris shared the importance of volunteering and community support – expressing huge thanks to the charity’s supporters.

Supporters were told: “Each individual action may seem small on its own, but together your time, effort and energy create a powerful force that carries hope, support, and change to those who need it most.

“Events like this remind us why we do what we do — building a more inclusive future where every child belongs and every family gets the support they need. Thank you for being a part of Team Orange and enriching our community.”

Challengers, with its headquarters in Stoke Park, is a charity which transforms the lives of disabled children, young people and their families through the power of play.
