Friends and family are invited to show their support by sponsoring them, all to raise big bucks for a great cause. Any guests visiting the sports park on the day are invited to contribute by placing donations in the collection buckets outside of climbing centre.

The money they raise will help people living unimaginably tough lives across the UK and in the world’s poorest communities.

Laura Tomlin, volunteer helper, said: “The climbers are really looking forward to doing their bit to help this worthwhile cause.”

They might care to add one more climb making it 161, otherwise they will fall short of their one mile (1,760 yards) target.
