Developer Yet To Sign Contract For Sale Of Former Social Club Site

Following the story we published on September 11, Apartments To Be Built On Site Of Once Popular Social Club, we have been asked to note that the sale of the site to developers Leander has not yet been completed.

The story was based on a press release issued by PR company Property House Marketing. It has apologised for not stating the fact in the press release.

A comment at the foot of the original story has also been published from Jackie Shellard, on behalf of the committee of Stopughton Social Club. She wrote: “The property is under offer but no completion date has been agreed, so building work cannot commence until Leander / Dylan May has agreed a date for completion of sale.”
