A pedestrian has died after being struck by an HGV near the western end of Farnham Road, in the early hours of Friday morning (September 23).
At around 3.40am, officers were called to reports of a collision between an HGV and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, aged 25, was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries but subsequently died.
The road, from Down Lane to the junction with the slip road from the A3, at the top of the Hog’s Back, remained partially closed until mid-morning today.
A Surrey Police spokesperson said: “Our thoughts at this time are with his family who are being supported by specialist officers.
