The motorcyclists assembling in Guildford High Street in 2018 before embarking on their fundraising ride.

For those who like classy motorbikes, Guildford High Street will be the place to be on Sunday September 29th.

The second meeting of the Guildford Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride will be forming up before completing a short tour of West Surrey for veteran, vintage, retro, classic and custom motorbikes.

Ride organiser Nigel Gower said: “Last year we had 330 bikes registered and raised over £16,000. Worldwide the event takes place in over 100 countries and 700 cities raising money for the Movember Foundation to improve men’s health.

“Although an event for motorbikes, don’t think leathers. Much more tweed and waistcoats!”

Those taking part will meet in the High Street from 9am, offering a good chance for bike fans to view gents’ machines. They will then leave at 11am to take a scenic route out through Gomshall, Shere, and Dorking with a break at Polesden Lacey then through Leatherhead, Fetcham and Cobham ending up at the Medicine Garden.

And here is the “distinguished gentlemen’s” video of last year’s event…
