Guildford’s much-loved firework festival with live music is on Saturday, November 8.
Stoke Park will once again come alive with colour, music and community spirit.
Organised by the Guildford Lions Club, every penny of profit will go directly to support local causes.

Guildford Lions Club’s 2024 Firework Festival was a spectacular success, raising £30,000 for good causes in the Guildford area.
Gates open at 5pm, live music is from 6pm to 8.30pm, fireworks at 8.30pm.
There will be a variety of fully licensed bars, multiple hot food and drinks outlets including vegetarian and vegan options.
Plus: Children’s entertainment and children’s fairground rides.

This year, alongside its own Lions Club welfare fund, the festival is supporting the Fountain Centre, an independent charity offering vital emotional and practical support to cancer patients and their families from the moment of diagnosis and beyond.
Thanks to a successful pilot programme, the centre is now launching a new exercise service designed for all cancer patients, regardless of diagnosis. This initiative will provide: personalised exercise plans tailored to individual needs, supervised group sessions to foster connection and motivation, ongoing assessments to ensure safety and track progress.

The pilot revealed something truly special: beyond physical health, these sessions offer a lifeline of social and emotional support, helping patients feel less isolated and more empowered during a challenging time.
A donation of £10,000 would allow the Fountain Centre to deliver 400 one-on-one exercise appointments, giving patients the personalised care they deserve. By attending the fireworks festival, you’re not just enjoying a spectacular night, you’re helping make this vision a reality.
The Guildford Lions Club has also donated 250 free tickets to attend the Firework Festival to deserving people and famies via local agencies.
