Dragon Interview: Anne Milton Offers Her Insight into the National Political Situation

Anne Milton, Guildford’s former MP, served as a Conservative government whip for five years up until 2017, the last two as the deputy chief whip, and has a deep knowledge of how government works and about the internal politics of a political party in power.

She has been reluctant to talk about national politics since she was denied the Conservative whip before the 2019 general election in which she stood, unsuccessfully, as an Independent. But she has now agreed to give her views on the government leadership issue in the light of “Partygate” and a subsequent allegation of racism within senior levels of the government.
