Driver Pushed Over in A3 Road Rage Incident

Police carPolice in Guildford are looking for witnesses to a road rage incident on the A3 at around 5.15pm on Tuesday August 18.

A man was driving a white Ford Max and was heading north onto the A3 in Guildford when another motorist, in a grey BMW indicated for him to pull over.

When the victim stopped at the first layby prior to the Burpham slip road, a verbal altercation took place about the man’s driving which resulted in the suspect pushing the victim causing him to fall.

The victim has stated that a white man with a beard driving a plain white van witnessed the incident and police are keen to speak to this man to further their inquiries.

PC Kerry Plumb said: “This was a nasty incident which has left the victim shaken and it’s not something we will tolerate on the roads of Surrey. We need to speak to the man who witnessed this offence and to anyone else who may have seen this incident on Tuesday afternoon.”
