Driver Suffers Life Threatening Injuries Following Collision

A car left the road in Stakescorner Road, Littleton, by Loseley Park last night (January 6) resulting in life threatening injuries for the driver.

A police statement said: “The collision took place at around 7.15pm near to Loseley Park and involved a blue Citroen C4 car which left the road and hit a tree. The driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

“The road was closed between Sandy Lane and Compton Lane whilst emergency services were in attendance.

An investigation into the circumstances of the collision is underway and officers are asking for any witnesses who saw the collision or the events leading up to it to contact Surrey Police.
