Hot on the heels of all the activity and opinions involving potential future developments in Guildford borough, a free public event is being held to offer residents and businesses the chance to ask any questions they have.

Eagle radioIndependently hosted by Eagle Radio at the town’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, the theme of the evening is ‘The Guildford Plan – Where are we now?’  It takes place on Tuesday, May 6, starting at 7.15pm. No tickets required, open to all, just go along.

Issues to be discussed include, but are not limited to, the number of homes needed in Guildford, whether or not we should develop on Greenbelt land and the redevelopment of Guildford town centre.

Eagle programme director Peter Gordon, who will host the event, said: “This sort of gathering is very different from a usual council meeting or pressure group huddle.

“It really is open for all who are interested in Guildford and its development – that includes residents, business people and those who just like to visit the borough!

“We’re particularly looking forward to seeing people who don’t usually take part in debates like these.”
