Elderly Man and Woman Injured In Crash On A3

An elderly man and woman have been taken to hospital following a collision on the A3 at Burpham just before 1.30pm today (Thursday, February 27).

The incident involved a silver Mercedes estate car and a white Transit pick-up van. The two people trapped in their car were cut free by firefighters.

The northbound carriageway was temporarily closed, but traffic was running relatively smoothy again by 4pm.
