Sanofi, under the Sanofi Inspires campaign, is partnering with Zeus Sports Ltd to stage the one day event which is taking place on Sunday, June 28.

Hundreds of riders are expected to take up the challenge, including employees from the Sanofi Group who will be raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Sanofi Director, Tunde Falode said: “At Sanofi, we realise the importance of health and fitness activities which promote wellbeing and personal growth. We want to go that extra mile in support of our corporate charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust. The Sanofi Surrey Classic Bike Ride is our latest challenge: an event that people from all over the county and beyond can take part in, raising money for charity and achieving their personal goals.”

The Sanofi Surrey Classic Bike Ride will start and finish at Horsley Park with food and support provided for all riders. Cyclists can choose from four different routes of 15, 55, 85 and 100 miles around the beautiful Surrey countryside and can sign up at www.surreyclassicbikeride.co.uk.

England rugby captain and event ambassador, Chris Robshaw, said: “I’m swapping my gum shield for a bike helmet and look forward to joining everyone on the Sanofi Surrey Classic Bike Ride. I hope everyone gets behind the event and raises as much money as possible for charity.”

Max Turner from Teenage Cancer Trust said: “Teenage Cancer Trust are thrilled that Sanofi has decided to take on the challenge of the Sanofi Surrey Classic Bike Ride. Since our partnership with Sanofi began, it’s gone from strength to strength and nearly £200,000 has been raised so far. We rely on donations and the continued support will enable us to help many more young people with cancer across Surrey and the UK.”
