The Thursday Club, that meets every Thursday afternoon at the church’s hall off Aldershot Road received a grant from the Community Foundation for Surrey’s Savills Guildford Community Fund.
This fund was established with the foundation by Savills Estate Agents and the inauguration of the projector and screen took place on Thursday, April 12.
The organiser of The Thursday Club, Mary Lawrence, said: “Staff from Savills provided a lovely selection of cakes to celebrate. It was a joyful afternoon and everyone agreed that this new addition was a real bonus for the club.
“Club members were delighted to be able to thank Savills for their generosity.”
