Guildford Freeman Bill Bellerby Celebrates His 99th Birthday

There were celebrations all round as Guildford’s most popular freeman of the borough, Bill Bellerby, celebrated his 99th birthday with friends.

A party was held in his honour and Shirley West said: “We  had a lovely afternoon tea for Bill’s 99th birthday on March 13 at our house with all his old friends.

“It was so nice of Guildford MP Anne Milton to come along and join in a fun afternoon.

“Bill is still on form telling us all his life stories. He told us that he will be here next year for his 100th birthday!”
