The first female to cross the finish line, Claudia Lance Jones, achieved a new age category record for JW14.

Men’s placings:
Jack HOUGHTON (SM35-39) (unattached) was first over the line in 18:37 – first time in 13 appearances.
Mark HADLEY (SM35-39) of Woking AC, was second over the line in 18:47.
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (SM35-39) (unattached) was third over the line in 19:03 – was first to finish once before.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (unattached) 2,226 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (unattached) 2,033 pts.
David WOODCOCK (unattached) 1,959 pts.

Women’s placings:
Claudia LANCE JONES (JW14) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was first (sixth overall) over the line in 19:34 – third time in four appearances.
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) of Woking AC, was second (12th overall) over the line in 20:12 – has been first to finish on three previous occasions.
Jaydee PETERS (SW30-34) of Woking AC, was third (13th overall) over the line in 20:18.

Current standing in the women’s annual points competition:
Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 2,563 pts.
Julia BONILLA (unattached) 2,168 pts.
Susanna HARRISON (Woking AC) 1,956 pts.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Claudia LANCE JONES (JW14) was graded 81.60% for the time 19:34 (6th overall).
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) was graded 76.16% for the time 20:12 (12th overall).
Martin SMITH (VM55-59) was graded 73.61% for the time 21:36 (27th overall).

This week there were 164 runners, of whom 27 were first timers and 47 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 17 different athletics clubs took part.

Guildford parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 2,351 different runners, including participants from 161 athletics clubs, have completed 9,364 runs covering a total distance of 46,820 km, and there have been 2,102 new personal bests.

The women’s course record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).

The men’s course record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 15:30 on April 7, 2012 (event number 5).

The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013
(event number 57).
