Guildford Police Officer Charged With Tuck Shop Theft

Surrey Police BadgeA Surrey Police officer based in Guildford was yesterday (September 16) charged with theft following his arrest last month.

PC Stuart Parker, who is a response officer, was arrested on August 12 following a proactive investigation by the Force’s Professional Standards Department.

The charge relates to the theft of money between June 30 and August 12 2014 from a tuck shop based at Guildford Police Station.

PC Parker, 29, is currently suspended from duty and is on bail to appear at Aldershot Magistrate’s Court on October 2.
