A SCC gritter

With temperatures dropping across Surrey this week, the council’s fleet of gritters was out last week regularly spreading salt on the county’s roads.

Every winter SCC teams work around the clock to keep Surrey moving, carrying out winter service
alongside their full-time council work. Each driver completes specialised qualifications to operate the gritting vehicles.

The list below, published by Surrey County Council, provided by County Cllr Fiona Davidson, also available on the SCC website, lists the current works planned or underway in the borough.
