Hunt For Gang in Damaged Audi After Violent Burglary in Guildford

The hunt is on for a gang who jumped a fence and entered a house in Kestrel Close in Merrow Park, Guildford, last night (June 22) in an aggravated burglary.

Police were called shortly before midnight and saw a dark-coloured Audi at the property speed away. It was last identified heading towards the A3 at about 1am today (June 23).

Injured victims were taken to hospital but are expected to make a full recovery.

Detective Constable Anne Simpson said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area about that time and saw anything suspicious.

“During efforts to stop the Audi at the scene, officers smashed the rear window which would have made it distinctive for anyone who possibly saw it.”
