Two men and a woman seriously assaulted two men outside the Travelodge in the centre of Guildford at 8pm on Sunday (April 25). The threesome armed with a pole or a bat, attacked the victims in the hotel car park, leaving one with a head wound and the other with face injuries.

The woman suspect, white and in her twenties, was wearing a white T-shirt with a motif on the front and blue jeans, and had long dark hair tied up.

The first male suspect, who used the pole or bat, is white with short light or grey hair, about 5ft 10″ and large build. The second, also white, in his twenties or early to mid-thirties, with short dark hair. He is thought to be about 6ft.

We believe a silver Volkswagen Golf and a light or beige coloured older style Mazda are connected to the suspects.

Detective Constable Susannah Ridgewell, from Guildford CID, said “This was a horrific attack in a public place and in daylight, and the victims have been fortunate; their injuries could have been far worse.

“Can you help us identify the people involved in this attack, or help us piece together their motive for doing something so brutal? Someone will have seen the cars too, or will know who owns or has access to them.”
