The next CAP (Christians Against Poverty) Job Club programme starts on Wednesday, May 6, at Guildford Baptist Church in Millmead.
The course of eight sessions starts each week from 10.15am finishing at around 12.30pm. From the second week onwards, there will be a light lunch provided.
The course will give attendees all the “tools” needed to find work, from writing a CV to brushing up on the all important interview skills. The course, beverages and lunch are all free of charge.
You will join a group of people facing similar experiences to you and learn together and from each other. Each member also has a designated job coach who will provide one-to-one support.
To initially find out more, there will be a ‘drop-in’ session at the Open Grounds Cafe at Guildford Baptist Church on Wednesdays April 22 and 29, from at 10.30am to noon.
