Knife Gang Threaten Man on Guildford Crossroads

Witnesses are being sought after a gang threatened a man with a knife on the crossroads between Stoughton Road and Manor Road in Guildford last night (July 6) at about 8:30pm.

The victim was approached by four males, believed to have got out of a red Vauxhall car or similar, by the small parade of shops on the crossroads of Grange Road.

The victim is then believed to have run from the scene and the four males got back into the vehicle and drove away.

Police are trying to understand exactly what happened. Do you live near by or were you in the area at the time? Do you have CCTV which may have captured the incident? Were you driving in the area at the time and have a dashcam?

A police spokesperson said: “If you witnessed this incident or have any information which could help, including CCTV or dashcam footage, please call 101, quoting reference number PR/45200069865.

“If you prefer to remain anonymous, you can report information to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
