From Peter SladeFollowing up on the comments made about the article ‘Poor State of Guildford’s Iconic Granite Setts Makes Aldermen Ashamed’, your readers might like to see some examples of the paving in the whole of the centre of Guildford’s twin town of Freiburg (actually a city), Germany.
They feature a range of different patterns and are thoroughly well maintained. They are never patched up with asphalt when they need repair.
