In response to: Solum Wants 65 More Homes on ‘Great Wall of Guildford’
It seems to be the case that every time a developer gets planning permission for development, shortly down the line comes further discussion with the council, frequently on the grounds of financial viability.
Then there is a subsequent low-key planning application to increase the number of properties on the site.
Sometimes they slip through and are successful, others get more public attention.
This must stop.

I thought that Guildford Borough Council originally refused planning permision of the Solum development and GBC was overriden by a Goverment Inspector. If I am correct it seems unfair to blame the council as appears to be the case here.
