Letter: When Was The Godalming Dance Group Formed?

As a committee member of the Godalming Social Dance Club (GSDC) I am interested in finding out when the club was started.

From our searches it appears that the GSDC was born out of a Dennis Group Dance Club at Guildford and is expected to be nearing a 30th year anniversary.

As we would like to celebrate this we would like to establish the exact start date. If anyone has any memories/records on this could they please let me know by response to this comment.
