Freeman of Guildford Bill Bellerby was cheered as he entered a Macmillan cancer support fundraising afternoon at Guildford’s Holiday Inn on Friday afternoon (September 18).
The organisers of the event, which raised £800, thank the Deputy Mayor of Guildford, Gordon Jackson, and his wife Sue, the Deputy Mayoress, for their support in attending the afternoon.
They also send a big thank you to the Holiday Inn for hosting it and to Guildford’s Tesco store for donating “all the lovely cakes”.
