Man Charged in Connection with Attempted Murder in Guildford

A man has been charged in connection with an attempted murder that took place in Guildford in July (2017).

The incident happened on Wednesday, July 5 when a man attended a Surrey hospital with a number of stab wounds, just before midnight.

A police press release stated: “Mohammed Abubaker, 25, of Ludovick Walk, in Wandsworth, London has been charged with attempted murder and will appear at Guildford Magistrates court [today] on 2nd September 2017.

“A woman from Aldershot and a man from Devon have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit attempted murder and have been released under investigation.”

Two men and one woman from the Guildford area arrested on the night of the incident have been released with no further action being taken.
