Man Charged with Dangerous Driving Offences

A man has been charged with dangerous driving following theft of a vehicle in Guildford.

A circular had previously been circulated by Surrey Police and a spokesperson said today: “We would like to thank the public for their help and support in locating wanted man Eddie Chapman following an urgent appeal.

Mr Chapman, 22 of no fixed address was arrested on Wednesday, 7 April.

He has been remanded to attend court after being charged with 10 offences, including theft of motor vehicle, criminal damage and a number of driving offences yesterday (8 April).

He appeared at Guildford Magistrates Court on Friday (9 April) and was released on conditional bail for a pending trial date.
