We are both very sad to hear of this, John (Greenhouse) had been coming into our shop Pedalpushers for years.
He must have been in his late eighties and still rode his bike everywhere. He was always complaining about bad drivers and the state of our roads (quite rightly). A great character who will be sorely missed.

Indeed very sad and a horrible and frightening way for his life to end. I hope that he did not suffer pain but slipped away in unconsciousness.

    RIP John Greenhouse.
