Man Wanted in Connection With Sexual Assault

Surrey Police is appealing for help in tracing a man they would like to talk to about a sexual assault in Guildford.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, was sexually assaulted in Milkhouse Gate that runs from the High Street to Sydenham Road, in the town centre just after midnight on February 12.

The man is described as: white, in his early 20s, of medium build, with short brown shaven hair and around 5ft 7 inches in height. He is believed to have an Eastern European accent.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Sarah McCabe said: “I would like to reassure the public that we are treating this incident very seriously.

“We need the public’s help to identify the person in the image who we would like to talk to as part of our enquiries.

“If you know who this man is or have seen him in the area please get in touch with us immediately by calling 101 or report online at report.police.uk and quote the reference number 45170014756.
