Notice: Balancing The Books – Talk On GBC Finances

Did you know that only about 10% of local domestic rates and 4% of local business rates are kept by Guildford Borough Council?

Claire Morris, Director of Finance at GBC, will speak about the borough’s finances in a talk organised by the St Catherine’s Village Hall Association.

She will be accompanied by Councillor Nigel Manning, the Lead Councillor for Finance and Asset Management at the Council.

The talk will take place at 7pm (for 7.30pm) on Tuesday, October 2.

The hall is in Chestnut Avenue, St Catherine’s, off the Portsmouth Road. Entrance is free and includes a glass of wine.
