Age UK Surrey is an independent local charity, working to help improve the lives of older people across the county.

Their Tea and Chat sessions aim to help combat loneliness and social isolation and are continuing in Caterham, Oxted and Lingfield.

Everyone aged 50-plus is welcome and groups meet for free refreshments, talks, quizzes, games and craft sessions.

Sessions take place fortnightly on Mondays from 10.30am to 12pm at the Douglas Brunton Centre, Park Road, Caterham, CR3 5TA.

Once a month on Tuesdays, sessions are available between 2.30pm and 5pm in the Bluehouse Social Centre, Bluehouse Lane, Oxted, RH8 OAD.

Also once a month, between 2.30pm and 4pm on Thursdays, Tea and Chat sessions take place at the Lingfield Community Centre, Jennings Hall, RH7 6AB.

Tea and Chat sessions are a great way to meet people and make new friends.
