On Tuesday, December 5, Cranleigh Arts Centre will show a relaxed screening of the Royal Opera House production of The Nutcracker.
Cranleigh Arts Centre’s relaxed screening is designed to welcome people with an Autism Spectrum Condition or anyone who would benefit from a relaxed cinema environment.
A Christmas treat for the whole family, Peter Wright’s interpretation of The Nutcracker has been enchanting children and adults alike since its first performance by The Royal Ballet in 1984.
Lev Ivanov’s 1892 ballet, combined with Tchaikovsky’s sumptuous, iconic score are presented in a festive period setting. with vivid designs to make this a charming and magical production.
When Clara is given an enchanted Nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve, she creeps downstairs at midnight to find a magical adventure awaiting her and her Nutcracker..
The screening starts at 7.15pm. Running time is 2hrs 30mins, including one interval. Tickets cost £19.75.
