It’s the final Christmas countdown and the race is on for a popular Guildford pop-up shop to raise as much as it can for charity this year.
Cards for Good Causes in St Nicolas Church, Bury Street, Guildford is doing all that it can to raise vital funds for charity before the festive trading season ends.
The shop sells a wide range of Charity Christmas cards from some fantastic charities including RNLI, Alzheimer’s Society, Parkinson’s UK and Cancer Research UK.
They also sell many stocking fillers, gift wrap and tableware, all raising vital funds for good causes.
Cards for Good Causes is a not-for-profit organisation which has raised over £40 million for charity over the last 10 years alone. They say that, as a not-for-profit, they keep operating costs at a minimum and give all profit back to the charities they partner, which is significantly higher than other retailers on the high street.
Andrew, shop manager for Cards for Good Causes says: “We have loved being here this year and seeing the community enjoy the Christmas pop-up shop. It really is so lovely and festive and has that Christmas market feel to it.
“We have so many beautiful small gifts and stocking fillers, with most under £10. Every purchase helps to raise much-needed funds for charity and we have had incredible support from the local community so far. Do come and find us in Guildford.”
