Children’s Charity Kids for Kids will be holding a fundraising Executive Fly Fishing Day on Saturday, October 13 at Park Lake in Albury.
The day will give exclusive access to the private lake owned by the Duke of Northumberland, as well as tuition and refreshments available throughout, all within the setting of the beautiful Albury Estate.
Proceeds raised from the event will support Kids for Kids in their work helping the forgotten children of Darfur, Sudan. This year the lack of rainfall in Darfur has caused the harvest to fail and children and animals are at risk of starvation.
The fly fishing day is suitable for experienced fishermen and beginners alike. Tuition will be provided by fully qualified trainers who will give tips on technique. Tackle will also be provided, and all equipment if required.
Places are available for Morning, Afternoon and All-Day sessions.
All Day tickets (9.30am to dusk) are priced at £95 each (minimum donation) to include breakfast, morning coffee cakes, lunch with wine and beer, and afternoon tea.
A morning session (9.30am plus lunch) will cost £55 each (minimum donation) to include breakfast, morning coffee and cakes and lunch with wine and beer.
An afternoon session (12.30pm until dusk) will also cost £55 (minimum donation) to include lunch with wine and beer, afternoon tea and cakes.
Hot drinks will be available throughout the day.
Children aged 10 or over are welcome but must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.
Places are limited on the lake, so book early. Visit www.kidsforkids.org.uk/?post_type=tribe_events or email contact@kidsforkids.org.uk for further details.
