In your day to day life, work or voluntary role, do you encounter vulnerable adults?
Do you ever wish you had more information about where people can find help?
‘Signposting’ is the process of giving people details of organisations that will be able to help them, providing information about social and supportive activities and helping people to get the help and support they need in an easy accessible way.
Free ‘Signposting’ training sessions – Creating Neighbourhood Connections – will be take place in Guildford. They aim to increase confidence in signposting people to support, expand knowledge of what support is available locally and provide an opportunity to network with other key members of the community.
The sessions will take place as part of a pilot project, on Tuesday, June 20, between 11.30am and 1pm and on Monday, July 10, between 5.30pm and 7pm.
The training will be delivered by Nicola Bassani, Guildford Community Connector, at Diocesan House, Quarry Street, Guildford, GU1 3XG. Refreshments and cake will be provided.
Everyone is welcome, but spaces are limited. To book a place contact neighbourhoodconnections@cofeguildford.org.uk or call 07796 098077 or 01483 790324.
