There is a free afternoon of recitals beginning with Jazz at Noon and ending at 5pm with local young pianists playing short piano gems, in the stunning location of St Martha on the Hill, Guildford on Monday, May 29.
The full itinerary is:
Noon: Chris and Jonny Ford with the Jazz Lions.
1pm: Songs for a season, Jacqueline Dias (soprano) and Sue Gill (clarinet).
2pm: Mellow cello, unaccompanied Bach and more, with Catherine Porter (cello).
3pm: Soulful piano. A solo recital by Maureen Galea (piano).
4pm: Sweet Treats. A miscellany of short piano gems, featuring talented young pianists.
There is a 15-minute steep walk from car parks at Halfpenny Lane or White Lane. Dogs on leads welcome inside the church. Tea and cake available.
