“Laugh Your Way to Better Health” sessions have been running in Woking since September 2017 and a growing number of people are giggling their way through whatever life throws at them.

Rowee Wood and Jo-Dee Walmsley are actively helping people overcome depression, stress, and anxiety with their Laughter Yoga sessions.

Their main focus is to help people thrive in stressful and anxiety-filled environments and to help them overcome their business issues, assist with personal growth, happiness and more.

Regular laughter yoga classes are held at Christ Church in Woking.

Laughter Yoga combines unconditional laughter with yogic breathing. It starts off as a simulated exercise done in a group and with eye contact very soon changes to fits of real laughter.

Laughter can be a great mood changer, producing a cocktail of serotonin, oxytocin, dopamine, and endorphins which can be a great stress buster, helping to alleviate depression and anxiety, strengthening the immune system and promoting tranquility and relaxation.

Laughter Ambassador and Happiness Expert Jo-Dee Walmsley can also help bussinesses with Happiness and Wellness programmes using laughter as a tool to re-connect teams and help them be more productive, innovative and creative, increasing sales and lowering staff turnover at the same time improving mental health in the workplace.

Regular classes are held on the first Monday of the month at The Octagon Room, Christ Church in Woking at 7pm and on Saturday, May 5, from 10am to 4pm there will be a ‘Laugh Your Way to Happiness’ Workshop in The Skylight Room at Christ Church.
