Are you a good listener and would like to help change lives?

Surrey Care Trust is a local charity supporting adults, families and young people who would benefit from one to one support through some of life’s challenges.

As one of its volunteer mentors you could help bring out the best in someone.

Its free training will give you the skills you need.

Training courses are available in the Guildford area. Places must be pre-booked and you need to attend all sessions.

The next course will run on Tuesdays, February 8, 15 and 22 at Guildford Fire Station, Ladymead, from 5pm to 7.30pm.

A further course will run on Wednesdays, May 11, 18 and 25 at Guildford Fire Station, from 5pm to 7.30pm.
