On Saturday. March 26 on Guildford High Street and on Saturday, April 2 in the Farnham Maltings, a collection of young Surrey entrepreneurs aged seven to seventeen will be launching businesses and making their own money at the Children’s Business Fair (CBF).

They’ll have planned their business, created their brand, built a marketing strategy and manufactured their products. Selling everything from 3D printed toys, soaps and scented candles, to Easter decorations and treats, the children are responsible for setup, sales and customer interaction.

Since 2018, the CBF has seen more than 500 local young entrepreneurs launch more than 300 businesses.

July 2021’s CBF event on Guildford High Street featured 65 entrepreneurs launching 40-plus businesses and selling to thousands of happy customers. Young entrepreneurs made hundreds of pounds in revenue – many converting their takings into jaw-dropping profit margins.

“These are truly the grittiest and most creative young people we’ve ever met. They are tomorrow’s leaders, captains of industry and millionaire entrepreneurs. Worried about the future of the economy? You shouldn’t be. Come and meet the next generation of great entrepreneurs at the Children’s Business Fair.” said Sam Rogerson, founder of the Children’s Business Fair UK.
