A Tale of Two Villages is a new exhibition at Send & Ripley History’s Society’s museum.
It is a broad brush look at the history of the two villages but with a few special items on show.
For all cycling buffs go and see Ripley’s own board game, Wheeling which ends at the Anchor pub, barring punctures en route.
For Send locals, take a look at a new acquisition, an aerial photo from the about the 1960s, and a new painting of Newark Mill and more…
The exhibition opens on Saturday (November 11) and will run until the end of January.
The museum, in Ripley High Street, behind the new Ripley Victory House, is open on Saturdays from 10am to noon.
To view by appointment, ring Clare on 01483 728546.
